Sata Saji

Biography:

Niece of Hawa Sanja, Sata Saji’s Bom is fairly fluid but shows a more limited vocabulary that leans occasionally on borrowed Mende or Krio words. The first time that DKB researcher Hannah Sarvasy visited Sogbaleh, Sata—who was probably in her early fifties—had lost her voice, but fortunately she recovered by the time DKB returned with video equipment!
